Junior Musical Theatre (Grades P-6)

Our junior musical theatre program is a fun-filled hour that includes vocal training, improv, mime, dance, and preparation for our final Spring production! Students come from all over HRM to attend this popular program, and new friends are always welcome. Program is 26 weeks +1 bonus week (free of charge) in case of storm cancellation. Cost covers classes ($13 per week), script cost, costume rental and headshots. There are 4 casts: Monday Group, Tuesday Group, Wednesday Group and Thursday Group. Choose the night that works best for you or contact us to see which one has more space available!

Our pre-professional musical theatre program is a fun and fast pace 1.5 hour class that includes vocal training, audition prep, scene study, stage combat, improv, mime, dance, and preparation for our final Spring production! Students come from all over HRM to attend this popular program, and new friends are always welcome. Program is 26 weeks +1 bonus week (free of charge) in case of storm cancellation (Also bonus Springtime rehearsals for classes who miss time due to holidays). Cost covers tuition ($18 per 90 min class), costume rental, scripts/sheet music and headshots. There are 4 casts: Monday Group, Tuesday Group, Wednesday Group and Thursday Group. Choose the night that works best for you or contact us to see which one has more space available!

Final Performance: May 2024 - "HEATHERS: The Musical (Teen Edition)"
Dance classes are for all ages and are jam-packed with high-energy fun! Students will learn skills, technique and composition in a fully inclusive, nurturing and non-competitive environment. Our focus is growth and development, using the PAEC Canadian Dance Syllabi. Our students also learn fun choreography for two annual recitals and other local performances!

"Tots n' Tutus" - Ballet, Jazz and Creative Movement for ages 2.5-3.5. 9:00-9:30am. Register for Saturdays OR Sundays! $249+HST. (30 min lessons +1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental for recitals).
"Prima Primary" - Ballet, Jazz and Tap for ages 4-6 (Pre Primary to gr 1). 9:30-10:30am. Register for Saturdays OR Sundays! $349+HST (60min lessons +1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental for recitals).
"Junior Combos 1&2" - Ballet, Jazz and Tap for grades 2-6. 10:30am-12:00pm. Register for Saturdays (second year 4s, all Gr 5s and 6s) OR Sundays (All grade 2-3 and first-year Gr 4s). $449.00+HST (+1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental for recitals).
"Lil' Kidz Hip Hop & Breakdance" (pre-primary to gr 2) Saturdays at 12-1pm. $349+HST (+1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental for recitals).
"Junior Hip Hop & Breakdance" (gr 3 - 6) Saturdays at 1pm-2pm. $349+HST (+1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental for recitals).
"Broadway Babes" - Song and Dance for ages 3-5. Singing and Musical Theatre Dance. Sat 2:15-3pm or Sun 1:15-2pm. 299.00+HST. (45 min lessons +1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental fee for recitals).
"Teen Combo" - Beginner to intermediate Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and Acro (gr 7-12). TUESDAYS 7:30-8:30pm. $399+HST (1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental for recitals).
ACTING CLASSES in ENGLISH AND FRENCH! Starting Sept 15th, 23 in
Portland Hills, Dartmouth, NS
Learn acting, improv, mime, production and performance for stage and screen in this fun one hour, once a week class! Students will put on at least 2 plays a year (non-musical) and shoot commercials for their shows! 26 weeks plus 1 bonus week free of charge for storm cancellations. Fully inclusive. Register for our English Acting class or our FRENCH LANGUAGE acting class (for the French program, students must be fluent in speaking French and comfortable reading scripts in French. If student is not a member of CSAP school system, they must be in early French Immersion at school). Grades 2-Young Adult.
JUNIOR ACTING (Grades 2-6) - Wednesdays @ 4:30-5:30pm OR Saturdays at 3-4pm. $379.00 +HST. (60min lessons +1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental, scripts, props and headshots).
SENIOR ACTING (Grades 7+) - Thursdays @ 4:30-5:30pm OR Saturdays at 4-5pm.

CLASSE D'ACTEUR JUNIOR (Gr 2-6) - Fridays @ 4-5PM. $379.00 +HST. (60min lesson +1 bonus week for cancellations, includes costume rental, scripts, props and headshots).

Music Lessons (Private & Group)

Private lessons upon request, $26+HST per 30 minute lesson. Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Bass, Woodwind, Brass, Percussion and Singing lessons are 30 minute one-on-one sessions that focus on technique, performance, and fun repertoire. Please call or email to book a spot.
